White Nights teaser
On May, 12th at the Zoo the Mapping Festival will present the ‘white night.’ All those who enter the club will be given a white jump suite and the entire audience will be projected. Audience as screen.
The footage was take during the photo shoot for the flyer promoting the event and features members of the Mapping Festival association plus Frz from 1024.

It gets better every year. Back in 2007 there was only a handful of us on deck. Now, we have 4 people plus 2 platoons helping us out. Here we have a nice picture of the court yard attached to the Mapping Festival headquarters with the BIG meeting of all the volunteers who have stepped up to help us.
If you are attending the festival, either as a participant or a spectator and you see someone standing by with a Mapping t-shirt behind a desk just be sure to give them a smile in return for their help.

Mapping Memories 2008
What is never on the program is the unexpected that can be expected when you invite so many artists and get them into a party atmosphere.
An impromptu performance by VJ Lupin in the Spoutnik in its chill out mode.
This footage was found last year and has never been displayed anywhere publicly before.
We are also using this as a test preview of the motion graphics that will accompany the daily shorts, video updates highlighting the best of the best from the preceding days performances and activities.

T-shirt tests
One of our fine traditions, the Mapping t-shirts, designed and printed on site at the Mapping Festival headquarters. Because of this in house production we get to mess around with different color combinations and types of materials and even customize them on request.
The t-shirts are provided free to all invited artists and sold to the general public. We very often receive requests for the new ones from people who had been invited to previous editions of the festival. This years logo is derived from last years but includes the year.
To buy one you can visit the Mapping Festival at our “Production Office” (Backslash) from May 3rd, located at: 19 Rue des Rois
